This month we’ll be showcasing our ERGs and telling you a little more about each of them. Our first focus is on our employee resource group representing ethnicity - AXA REACH ERG. Having just changed their name from BAME to REACH, the group recently celebrated its 2nd anniversary since being established. The group members chose to rename to REACH: Race, Ethnicity and Cultural Heritage. Sam Patel, Executive Sponsor of AXA REACH, said "Over the past year I've been speaking to members of the taskforce, as well as people from across our wider business, and it would seem the term BAME is outdated and potentially limiting. We've therefore decided to rebrand to REACH, a term synonymous with people being able to reach their full potential, regardless of who they are.
