Almac Group Appoints Julie Shannon as Vice President and Deputy Head of Information Services April 14, 2021 Craigavon, UK, 01 April 2021 – Almac Group, the contract development and manufacturing organisation, has today announced the appointment of Julie Shannon as Vice President and Deputy Head of Information Services (IS), globally. In her role as VP, Julie will continue to support the Group’s Global Vice President & Group Head of Information Services, Andy Hillis. She will oversee the continuous streamlining, simplification and improvement of processes, with a view to removing non-value adding tasks thereby improving delivery across the entire department. Julie will also be introducing the concept of shared services into IS in an effort to increase and improve collaboration in the standardization of service delivery provided by the department. This will ensure the IT operating model provides the best value to Almac by understanding current and future technology needs. The audit involved a range of virtual tours, presentations and an extensive review of Almac’s integrated management system.
