We’re thrilled to continue to invest in our workforce. We recently announced an increase to our minimum wage to $17.50 per hour, and other teammate annual increases. This amounts to an additional $328 million investment into our teammates. “Every day, our teammates deliver exceptional care for our patients and communities, so it is essential that we prioritize taking care of them too,” said Ken Haynes, president of the Southeast Region of Advocate Health. “It’s because of our teammates that Atrium Health is the most trusted and preferred health care provider.” Learn more!

Atrium Health January DEI Online Calendar. Our featured cultural observance this month is Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, which takes place on the third Monday of January, close to King's actual birthday on January 15. Martin Luther King, Jr. was a Baptist minister and social activist that had a huge impact on the civil rights movement of the 1950’s in the United States. King was assassinated in 1968 and will be remembered for his non-violent protests against segregation and his “I have a Dream” speech. Read about our other DEI initiatives this month.
