The annual Charlotte Magazine Top Doctor list is out! We are proud to announce that many of our physicians are recognized for their talents and achievements, and we extend a heartfelt congratulations to all! Top Doctors is an initiative in the Charlotte area where the editors of the magazine ask doctors to vote for other doctors who exemplify excellence in various specialties. The list is intended to allow the community to see and celebrate their doctors who make the list. It also gives those seeking medical services a place to find doctors who are most-nominated by their participating peers. You can see all who made the 2020 list here:

For the 13th consecutive year, Levine Children's Hospital has been named a “Best Children’s Hospital” by U.S. News & World Report. This year, the hospital received the most rankings in its history, being recognized in eight specialties. These distinguished rankings as a BEST Children's Hospital would not be possible without the incredible philanthropic support of our donors and partners.
We're proud to announce that Maureen Swick, Atrium Health Senior Vice President and System Nurse Executive, has been named one of Becker's Hospital Review's hospital and health system chief nursing executives to know. Congratulations, Maureen! https://bit.ly/2TJ0zkz
As part of the national #WhiteCoatsforBlackLives movement, teammates across our system took time to demonstrate our commitment to eradicating racial disparities and inequality in healthcare. For our fellow teammates and for the community, we knelt to stand against racism.
Following the death of George Floyd, the latest in a growing list of similar tragedies, and the ensuing demonstrations across the country, Eugene A. Woods, president and CEO of Atrium Health wrote a letter to teammates, reflecting upon his own experiences and urging others to use these recent events as a time to come together with renewed appreciation for our mission to improve health, elevate hope and advance healing – FOR ALL.
