    I feel very fortunate to have a plus-one role at Avanade, as the Programme Lead for our Tech for Social Good initiative. But just occasionally, my plus-one takes over my day job, which is what happened recently, as I was invited to attend not one, but two nonprofit events - which both coalesced around the theme of knowing your supporters.

    Earlier this week I attended the PNW Latino Tech Summit, organized by ALPFA - the Association of Latino Professionals for America. A series of panels and talks made for an inspiring and insightful day of community-building among local Latinos and Latinas in the tech industry.

This week 32 female managers from Avanade offices around the world were invited to Rome for the Avanade Leadership Program for Women. This three-day program offers the unique opportunity to do a 360-degree evaluation, strengthen skills, get to know each other and network with Avanade senior leaders. #WorkAtAvanade
