“I feel as if it wasn't for him, the blood clot and the bleed would have cost me my life. Robbie was comforting, caring and calm throughout the whole situation. I was never afraid while he was with me as my nurse,” the nomination concluded. Robbie Overstreet, RN, Cardiovascular Unit, Blessing Hospital, became the 42nd Blessing nurse to receive the international DAISY Award during a ceremony on August 19.
