Have you ever wondered how we manage to deliver packages in 1-2 days in the Nordic region? A part of that story is our fully automated warehouse, Boozt Fulfilment Centre, located in Ängelholm, Sweden. It was built in 2017 and has been expanded several times since then. The warehouse is custom-built to optimise the use of the automation system, AutoStore, and can be expanded in a modular way when more capacity is needed. As of now, our AutoStore installation is the largest in the world. It uses our own developed robot management system, developed and maintained by our skilled Platform team. The robot management system is a key component in gaining operational improvements at the fulfilment centre. With the help of the robots, our warehouse staff is able to pick and pack items at a speed that means we are able to have an industry-leading delivery time.

Our Boozt Tech Blog is a collective effort from our Platform team, driven and directed by our writers. Here you can read about the latest and greatest updates from the Boozt platform team about product developments, company events, and the engineering efforts in building the most advanced e-commerce platform in the Nordics. The Moose Award Every month during our All Staff meeting we celebrate one employee that in particular has shown Boozt values, Care-Why mentality and excellent performance. We do this by giving out the Moose award, a plush toy moose that is passed around to the people who receive the award. Since we are an Öresund company based in Sweden we naturally chose a moose as a representation of the homage. The people who are up for the Moose are nominated by their colleagues and chosen based on a written motivation that explains why they deserve it. This is one of our ways of showing how much we appreciate each other.
Hackathons Technology and innovation are the backbones of our business. Therefore, we host several Hackathons every year for our tech-savy employees to stir their innovative side. A Hackathon is a full day of creative brainstorming sessions with collaboration across disciplines and locations. Every team starts with a blank piece of paper in the morning and in the afternoon ends up with a concept or a working prototype that could end up on our website. It is yet another chance for us to give our employees full responsibility, freedom, and flexibility in their work. In the beginning the Hackathons were hosted in the home of our Group CTO but as more people joined the Platform team it has been moved to a venue in the meatpacking district in downtown Copenhagen. We love to see how teams come together to think up and bring creative and useful ideas to life. Read more about our former years' Hackathons in the link below.
Three Core Values We live by our three values Trust, Freedom and Responsibility. They are the fundamental beliefs we measure ourselves against in our daily work. Trust ... is based on mutual respect and confidence, having the same goals, and sharing the same motivations and interest, despite differences. We rely on each other, and thereby make everyone stronger. It means that we feel secure and consequently we can unfold our creativity and competencies. Freedom ... is seen as a necessity for success and as a way of encouraging initiative, leadership, and new ways of thinking. It means that people can act and solve their daily tasks in their own unique way - and in that way they can reach their full potential. We have complete freedom, as long as we act in Boozt’s best interests. Responsibility ... comes with having freedom, and is the foundation of each task and behavior. It is of great importance and applies to our customers, colleagues, and Boozt’s interests, and entails that we can achieve the kind of freedom to which we aspire in our daily lives.
Care-Why Central to Boozt’s company culture are our three core values: Trust, Freedom and Responsibility, as well as what we call the Care-Why mindset. This is what lays the foundation for everything we do. “In our view it is the ‘care-why’ that marks the difference between the ordinary and the exceptional” - Hermann Haraldsson, Co-founder & CEO Care-Why is not only about knowing, but also about caring, being curious, and choosing to act and go the extra mile for our customers, the company, and each other. We believe in having a culture where we feel empowered to make a difference; where we are passionate about innovation and collaboration; and where we take care of one another, our customers, our partners, and our communities simply because it is the responsible thing to do.
The History of Boozt From almost going out of business to having one of the largest automated fulfillment centers in the Nordics and being listed on two stock exchanges, Boozt has never lost its grit and start-up mentality. This is the story of how we have become one of the biggest Nordic players on the fashion e-commerce market. It all began in 2007 when BZT Fashion AB was founded with a strategy to conduct outsourced, mono-brand fashion operations. This business model didn’t prove very efficient, and the company almost went out of business. Hermann Haraldsson was recruited as the new CEO, and together with a new management team he laid out a strategy of running an in-house multi-brand webstore. Since then the business has grown massively, changing name to Boozt Fashion AB and expanding with Booztlet.com, three physical retail stores, an automated warehouse and two public listings, first on Nasdaq Stockholm and recently on Nasdaq Copenhagen. Our ambitions are higher than ever and the story of Boozt continues to unfold as we start our new chapter as a modern department store.
