We've taken the next steps in our strategy to provide cleaner electricity that meets customers' future energy needs. Our Integrated Resource Plan (IRP) preferred portfolio will save Indiana customers money while further investing in renewable generation with a goal to end the use of coal by 2027. We expect the plan to help maintain reliability during long-duration summer and winter weather events and support the growth of both our residential and business customers while maintaining good environmental stewardship.
We’re proud to announce the promotion of Shonda Johnson to vice president, Customer Experience. Shonda joined the CenterPoint team over 30 years ago and has served in various roles of increasing responsibility in Credit and Collections, Billing and Bill Print Operations and most recently as Director, Call Center Operations. A graduate of Texas Southern University, Shonda earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and is an active mentor, helping youth girls in the sport of volleyball prep for college. A proven leader with a strong focus in excellent customer service and a heart for her team, we’re confident in the unique knowledge and experience Shonda brings to her new role and wish her much success.
