In response to feedback from our many stakeholders, this report was developed with reference to the widely-used Global Reporting Initiative’s (GRI) comprehensive sustainability reporting framework and Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) standards.
We are pleased to announce that Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. was named GM Supplier of the Year by General Motors for the fourth consecutive year. GM recognized its best suppliers from 16 countries for their performance in the 2020 calendar year. The annual awards highlight global suppliers that distinguish themselves by exceeding GM’s requirements, in turn providing GM customers with innovative technologies and among the highest quality in the automotive industry.
Today, we published our Sustainability Report 2020 Executive Summary highlighting progress toward our achievement of sustainability goals and reaffirming our agenda to build a more sustainable steel company. Later in the second quarter, we will publish our full Sustainability Report 2020 consistent with Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) and Sustainability Accounting Standards Board (SASB) guidance.
