Lose Weight for a Good Cause – a GetFIT initiative by Group HR In May 2018, Group HR (GHR) kickstarted the “Lose Weight for a Good Cause” program as part of the GetFIT initiative for CrimsonLogic employees. A new initiative was added to the program – with every kilogram lost by the participants, CrimsonLogic will contribute $100 to the Handicaps Welfare Association (HWA). The funds will be used in support of HWA’s rehabilitation program for their beneficiaries. More than 90 employees enrolled in the program and over a period of three months, the total weight lost accumulated by the participants was 69 kg. A donation of $7,000 was presented to HWA today. To mark the cheque giving presentation, GHR also organized an interactive nutrition workshop on reading food labels for the beneficiaries at HWA. Our employees joined the beneficiaries in the workshop to learn about selecting healthier choices in their grocery shopping. The event ended with a well-balanced bento lunch and a bag full of grocery for every beneficiary.
