Our story began in 1926 with the opening of the Overhead Door Company of St. Louis™, followed by Kansas City (1927) and Atlanta (1935). In 1973, these operations united under the DH Pace name — and we’ve continued to grow ever since. From launching our commercial brand in 1995 to expanding into security systems in 2003, and growing to operating out of new offices across the United States, our commitment to excellence has never wavered. We are proud to share that DH Pace Company Chief Financial Officer (CFO), Tom Palmer, has been named a 2025 CFO of the Year honoree by the Kansas City Business Journal. Tom joins 16 CFO honorees from across the Kansas City region. Tom attributes his success to the remarkable talents of the many DH Pace employees he works with daily. Congratulations Tom, and to the other KCBJ 2025 CFO of the Year honorees!
At DH Pace Company, Inc. and Overhead Door Company of Kansas City™, we feel grateful for the opportunity to share a little comfort and joy with families in need. Recently, members from our office assembled, packed, and delivered over 400 meal kits and a couple pounds of pop tabs to the incredible Ronald Mcdonald House Charities of Kansas City. In our own community, RMHC offers a warm and welcoming "home-away-from-home" for families of seriously ill children in the Kansas City area. On any given night, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Kansas City serves 94 families. Since 1981, their Ronald McDonald Houses and Ronald McDonald Family Room provided comfort and care to more than 107,000 families. We are humbled to have played a small part in supporting their vital mission.
We are pleased to announce a new partnership between Florida Door Solutions and the DH Pace Company. This partnership will strengthen and expand DH Pace’s established 10+ year business in the Central Florida Market. Florida Door Solutions was founded over 23 years ago and became a leader in the commercial and residential door industry.
