Even during a challenging time like this, Team Dow remains focused on our ambitions, among which is to be the most inclusive materials science company. In fact, our work toward this end is more important now than ever. It’s this commitment to inclusion that once again earned our company a spot on DiversityInc's #DITop50 Companies for Diversity list at number 22 – up 15 spots over last year. In his latest blog post, Jim Fitterling reflects upon this recognition of our progress on inclusion and shares our 2019 SHINE Inclusion Report.

Last week, we shared with you our plans to repurpose existing Dow facilities – including one in Stade, Germany – to produce hand sanitizer, which remains in short supply amid #COVID19. With help from suppliers and regulators, we’ve ramped up hand sanitizer production at four additional sites in Michigan, West Virginia, Belgium, and Brazil. All of the hand sanitizer that will be produced at these four sites has been allocated – much of it for donation to health systems and government agencies – and the first deliveries are expected to begin this week. Jim Fitterling shares more about how #TeamDow is putting our global assets to work to supply materials for life-critical applications, while maintaining safe and responsible operations. #DowStrong
To further support the efforts of those on the front lines of the fight against #COVID19 and the recovery efforts still to come, we are committing $3 million to help fund relief efforts with donations going towards global relief organizations, as well as non-profits in communities where we operate. In addition, we have begun producing hand sanitizer at our manufacturing site in Stade, Germany, and are repurposing an existing facility to produce hand sanitizer in the U.S., as well. Read more from our CEO, Jim Fitterling, about our efforts to support those leading the fight against this pandemic and helping to ensure our health and wellbeing.
Nothing is more important to Dow than safety, and we are doing everything we can to ensure the health and well-being of all our colleagues, customers, suppliers and the broader global community. Jim Fitterling shares more information about our company's response to COVID-19.
