We’re proud to share that Rufus Youngblood, Director of Safety at Ferrellgas, has received a National Propane Gas Association (NPGA) Safety Award for his outstanding contributions to propane industry safety. Rufus is pictured here with Ferrellgas Head of Retail Ray Galan at the NPGA’s Propane Days event in Washington, D.C. Rufus has advanced industry standards through his leadership roles on NPGA’s Technology, Standards and Safety Committee, the Regulatory Task Force, and NFPA code committees. Since joining Ferrellgas in 2001, Rufus has helped foster a strong safety-first culture within our company, ensuring that our employees, customers, and communities are better protected every day while also making a lasting impact across the industry. Congratulations, Rufus, on this well-deserved honor!
Since May 22, 2011, our partners at Operation BBQ Relief have delivered more than 12.7 million meals to disaster-affected communities, first responders, and relief workers, one plate at a time. 💙 As their official propane partner, we're proud to help fuel the healing power of BBQ wherever its needed most. This May, as we celebrate National Barbecue Month, we also honor 13 years of service, hope, and hot meals made possible through OBR's important mission.
Meet David Mann, our new Director of Fleet Logistics! 🚛 David brings over 20 years of experience in fleet operations, including 17 years at Schwan’s Home Delivery, where he worked closely with Ferrellgas as a customer. Now, he’s leading the team that helps make sure your propane deliveries are safe, on time, and reliable. “I’ve always admired Ferrellgas’ focus on safety and service,” David said. “I’m excited to be part of that work from the inside.” We’re thrilled to welcome David to the team!
