Wendy started with Fives in 1997 as a Controls Engineer Consultant for the Engineering department. In 2018, she was hired as an Aftermarket Project Specialist. She has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Shippensburg University. Wendy was attracted to her job with Fives because of her current position as an engineer consultant. Working in the aftermarket department allowed her to learn more about the products and services Fives offers. From Wendy’s previous experience, she knew the electrical engineering side of manufacturing machines and through additional training has been able to expand her knowledge base to include the mechanical side of building grinders. In addition, she is an active part of the Landis Social Committee, which plans and organizes employee engagement activities. The most rewarding part of her job is building relationships with customers and being able to help them with their parts or rebuild needs. The advice she would give, “Find something that makes you happy and passionate, life is too short to do things that make you miserable.”
