March is Women's Month, and we kicked off the fun with a Women's Week GoPro style, highlighting GoPro Family members that put the "woah" in woman leading up to the 2020 International Women's Day on Sunday, March 8. The party started in the backcountry with GoPro Snow athletes Jamie Anderson and Elena Hight.
#ThrowbackThursday: There was a time in early November that we gathered a few of the GoPro Family members from around the globe to converge in San Francisco. Once we got them there, we politely asked them to rappel off one of the tallest skyscrapers in the city in an effort to raise money for the charitable organization, Outward Bound California.
Over the past few months, an estimated 15.6 million acres across Australia has burned and fires continue to burn. In partnership with longtime GoPro Family Member Brinkley Davies, GoPro has pledged to donate to the DGR-endorsed Australian charity Balu Blue Foundation, which is helping aid the ongoing relief efforts for the devastating Australia bush fires.
GoPro’s offices around the globe are warm with the spirit of giving as we wrap up our fifth annual 12 Days of Cause celebration.
http://glassdoor.com/slink.htm?key=vMD0l From the moment HERO8 Black debuted in October, it’s been capturing the hearts of tech reviewers across the internet. The resounding conclusion is that, what HERO7 started, HERO8 improves upon. We ditched a frame, introduced next-level 2.0 features in HyperSmooth 2.0 and TimeWarp 2.0, included up to 10 custom presets and four digital lenses and dramatically improved audio. These improvements are just a few of the fan-favorites that are continuously highlighted in reviews. So as we’re reelin’ in the reviews and gatherin’ up the clips, we’d like to share some of our favorites with you.

http://glassdoor.com/slink.htm?key=vMHpj With the release of GoPro MAX, we've introduced some unique, new 360 modes and features as well as a .360 file format that set MAX apart from existing 360 cameras, including GoPro Fusion. And now that MAX is out in the wild, we want to share the backstory of some of MAX's inner workings that tech specs at face value, especially in 360 capture, just can't convey properly. Take resolution for example, specifically the difference between capture and stitched resolutions. With MAX, spherical videos are captured at 6K resolution and stitched to 5.6K, and spherical photos are captured at 18MP resolution and stitched to 16.6MP. Two different resolutions, one incredible output—read on to find out how.

The Real Innovation Awards celebrate the brilliance, brio, and bravery of the go-getters and must-do-betters who are reshaping the world around us. Nick has been shortlisted in the “If At First You Don’t Succeed” category, which celebrates an individual or organization who tried something that didn’t work out, but which provided the stepping-stone for a subsequently successful outcome.
