We are proud to announce the development of a demonstration tire with 70% sustainable-material content, including industry leading innovations. The 70% sustainable-material tire includes 13 featured ingredients across nine different tire components, and company performance indicators show that the component properties deliver strong overall tire performance. Thanks to the hard work of our scientists and engineers, the development of this tire is significant progress toward our goal of creating a 100% sustainable-material tire by 2030.
As one of the world's largest tire manufacturers, we are committed to doing our part to implement transformative changes that will help protect our planet for future generations and build a more sustainable business for all of our stakeholders. Building on other sustainability-focused efforts, we are proud to announce our goal to reach net-zero greenhouse gas emissions across our value chain by 2050, along with our commitment to achieve near-term science-based targets by 2030. We will submit our 2030 and 2050 targets to the The Science Based Targets initiative for independent validation in 2022.

Coming together and valuing the power of our differences is the cornerstone of human connection and the foundation of our evolving D&I journey. When our associates come together as one, we drive innovation for Goodyear. Our global Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) help us do just that. This week, the Global Office of D&I hosted the 2021 Global ERG Mosaic Awards to celebrate the accomplishments of these groups and highlight that each of us have more in common inside and outside of work than we may think. Congratulations to this year’s winners, we are so proud to have you as a part of #TeamGoodyear
Our associates continue to build an inspiring culture and make Goodyear a great place to work! Today we are again recognized as a top global employer, determined by associate feedback from around the world.

The Rallye Aïcha des Gazelles du Maroc is the only women's rally event in the world that takes place 100% off-road. The women who take part in this rally - known as "Gazelles"- are of all ages, social backgrounds, nationalities and levels of off-road experience. The rally started from Nice France on Saturday, September 18 and arrived in Essaouira, Morocco on October 2, covering 2,500 kilometers. For the 30th anniversary of the Rallye, Goodyear was represented by Team n°263 with Stéphanie Caramico, marketing director, France and Léa Causse, sales representative, southwest area of France, who are also members of the Goodyear Women’s Network. Stéphanie and Léa rode on Goodyear Wrangler All-Terrain Adventure tires and worked together to choose the shortest possible route by analyzing maps with geographical coordinates, and determining the difficulties of the terrain without using electronic tools. Congratulations to Stéphanie and Léa!
