Together for Good is Qurate Retail Group's global social impact program and recently, enabled the team at HSN to volunteer for the American Cancer Society’s Tampa ACS Hope Lodge. The team worked together to assemble welcome kits, complete with toiletries and personal care items, for patients and families. ACS Hope Lodge provides free housing for cancer patients and their caregivers while they are away from home. This nurturing community helps patients access the care they need, while offering a supportive, homelike environment where guests can share a meal, join in the evening’s activities, or unwind in their own private room. Karen Etzkorn, Qurate Retail Group CIO and ACS Board Member, led the way on the assembly line and shared her gratitude that QRG sponsored this event. “Many people in my life have been impacted by cancer – in fact, I have several friends working through it right now. I knew I wanted to find a way to give back, and my seat on the American Cancer Society (ACS) Board has allowed me to support its vision of ‘ending cancer as we know it, for everyone’ through the innumerable resources they provide. My fellow team members at Qurate Retail Group and I were thrilled to help the ACS make an impact on our local community.”

As part of our recent launch on Amazon Freevee, we’re excited to offer “The Big Dish,” our first FAST Channel. The Big Dish features a fun mix of pre-recorded culinary programming from QVC and QVC2, with plans to add HSN culinary content and original culinary shows from the QVC+ and HSN+ streaming app soon. This is our first foray into an ad-supported channel with a narrow focus on a specific interest area, which is the most popular channel format on FAST.
We are proud to share that Qurate Retail Group has been named to USA Today’s inaugural America’s Climate Leaders 2023 List. This prestigious award recognizes companies for a variety of criteria like emission intensity, annualized reductions in emission intensity, and carbon disclosure ratings. An original lineup of 2,000 U.S.-based companies was narrowed to 400 U.S. companies (including us) that cut their emissions intensity from 2019 to 2021. “As a business that reaches millions of viewers and shoppers around the world, we are steadfast in our corporate environmental commitment to the communities we serve and the planet we inhabit,” said Suzanne Quigley, Director of Corporate Responsibility at Qurate Retail Group. “This recognition is a testament to the substantial progress we’ve made in building and maintaining operations that reduce our carbon emissions footprint and serves as an important reminder of what collective action across an organization can achieve.”
