Our team recently had the opportunity to visit the Pentagon to meet with high ranking members of the Department of Defense and discuss the agenda for our upcoming Future Ground Combat Vehicle conference. Here’s what the head of our Defense division, Simon Wigfield, had to say! "It was an honor and a privilege to brief General Mark Milley, Chief of Staff, US Army, on our great work at IDGA and our Future Ground Combat Vehicle conference. We had an eye opening discussion that reviewed the US Army's GCV priorities and how we can truly align the conference agenda to directly meet the US Army's needs. We are excited to get back to the office and implement General Miley's guidance into the November conference and release an armored vehicle agenda like you’ve never seen before! I want to personally thank General Milley, General Murray and General Ostrowski, for taking an hour out of your very busy days to share your incredible insights with us." These are the kinds of exciting opportunities that come with working at IQPC! Visit our careers page learn more: http://glassdoor.com/slink.htm?key=vQjiv

We would like to take this moment to recognize the outstanding work of the team that produced our Autonomous Vehicles Silicon Valley conference this January. It’s been named 4th out of Motion U’s Top 100 Car, Motorcycle and Wheeled Events in the US for 2018. Motion U is an automotive specific event listing website that highlights 175,000 US specific Automotive events of all types including B2B and B2C conferences, tradeshows, races and car shows. This is a fantastic achievement! Not only does this showcase the brilliant work of our team, but it shows our devotion to putting on the best quality events possible for our vendors and delegates. We truly value bringing businesses and people together to learn about the most up-to-date information about their respective fields, and we bring this mentality to every event and conference we produce! We are extremely grateful to Motion U for this recognition; here’s what they had to say: http://glassdoor.com/slink.htm?key=vQUT4
“There is no exercise better for the heart than reaching down and lifting people up.” ― John Holmes As the holiday season begins, many of us here at IQPC begin to turn our focus to those who are less fortunate and organize charity initiatives to help warm the hearts of those who need it most. One of our most popular initiatives in the office is donating non-perishable food items to the many New Yorkers who struggle to get a meal every day. The holiday season and eating well go hand-in-hand, and we believe that no one should have to go hungry during such a joyous time of year. So, we have food bins displayed in our reception area for anyone who has canned food or other non-perishable items to donate. We encourage our employees to contribute what they can; even one can of food goes a long way to lift the spirits of someone that needs something to eat. It is a great way to give to a charitable cause that goes to good use! We feel an obligation as New Yorkers to give back to our community in a meaningful way, and hope our efforts are able to help as many people as possible.
Veteran programs and initiatives are topics that hit close to home for all of us at IQPC, especially within our defense division, http://glassdoor.com/slink.htm?key=vQufs. Not only do we employ a number of veterans and active service members, we have deep business ties to thousands of companies who work within the military industry. These ties were formed through the multiple conferences related to military issues we host every year. This year, we participated in the #22PushUpChallenge, and as you can see we had a great time doing so! AND we raised over $500! The money will be donated to http://glassdoor.com/slink.htm?key=vQuf7, an organization that works to raise awareness to the veteran suicide epidemic that is plaguing our country, and educate the public on PTS and other mental health issues. While it is impossible to put a price tag on how we repay those who have given so much, we hope that all of our efforts can help to make a difference for our veterans!
