For the third consecutive year, Executive Vice President, APAC Rob Bryant participated in St. Vincent de Paul’s CEO Sleepout, an initiative geared toward raising awareness for homelessness. Thank you to everyone who donated to support Rob's fundraising efforts this year.
At InEight, we encourage employees to take care of their entire wellbeing – both physical and mental. In recognition of May’s Mental Health Awareness Month in the U.S., InEight held a week-long global employee campaign. In addition to inviting employees to share their self-care tips on LinkedIn and offering an early end to the workday for employees to focus on a self-care activity of their choosing, InEight donated to Australia’ Mates in Construction and Construction Industry Alliance for Suicide Prevention (CIASP).
With a number of our employees and vendors affected by the current conflict in Ukraine, InEight employees across the globe recently rallied together in a campaign to provide financial support to UNICEF. All donations, including an InEight company match, support the non-profit’s efforts in caring for children impacted by the war. Thank you to everyone who gave so generously.
InEight employees in Arizona were recently invited to use their creativity and show us why they were InEight’s Phoenix Suns Mega Fan for the chance to win two tickets to an upcoming Suns game. Entries included employees showing off their team memorabilia, jerseys, past game photos and favorite memories. Congratulations to Project Manager Marissa Moreno for proving her mega-fan status and thanks to all who participated.
During InEight’s second annual Day of Giving, employees rallied together to financially assist charities that impact those in need across the U.S., throughout the APAC region and internationally, including St. Vincent de Paul of Arizona, Habitat for Humanity, Girls who Code, MATES and the Foundation of Goodness. In addition to financial donations, employees had the opportunity to volunteer at an organization of their choice in their local community. With activities ranging from helping families in need and assisting the homeless to participating in food drives, there was no shortage of passion among employees to give back. Thanks to all who participated and gave their time or money to impact our global communities.
For the third consecutive year, our InEight Melbourne team fundraised for Fight Cancer Foundation’s Footy Colours Day. With employee and company donations, InEight donated $5,000 to the organization where all funds went to the foundation's education support programs, helping kids living with cancer continue learning while they receive and recover from treatment.
Long-time backer of Completely KIDS, our InEight Omaha team recently participated in their annual School Supply Drive by purchasing backpacks and school supplies for children in need. With our help, Completely KIDS received 915 backpacks filled with supplies which will be dispersed to the non-profit’s 16 different sites, including three homeless shelters, a Ronald McDonald House and several local schools — sending hundreds of kids back to school the supplies and confidence they need for a successful school year.
For the second year in a row, InEight employees rallied around Executive Vice President, APAC Rob Bryant in support of St. Vincent de Paul’s CEO Sleepout — an initiative that encourages executives to spend an evening under the stars to raise funds and awareness for Australians experiencing homelessness. With employees around the globe supporting Rob’s fundraising efforts, Rob was able to raise $5,300. These dollars will provide over 180 meals and 45 beds to those in need. Thank you to Rob for taking on this challenge and to everyone who donated in support of the event.
Our most valuable asset at InEight is the incredible team we have. They're the reason we're able to be named on the prestigious Arizona Top Workplaces 2021 list, and placed on national lists for compensation, top managers and work-life flex.
InEight recently hosted our first ever virtual 5K challenge where employees around the globe were invited to run, walk or ride five kilometers. With prizes awarded for best time, longest distance and best photo, employees encouraged each other to get out and get active. Congrats to all our winners and thank you to all InEight employees who participated and helped make this event one to remember.
