InEight is proud to support the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Scottsdale’s first Makerspace Studio with a $10,000 donation. Access to STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art and math) is a core pillar of the InEight in Action community relations program, which made this the perfect project for a partnership. The Makerspace Studio is set to open this fall at their Piper branch near InEight’s headquarters in Scottsdale and will provide access to 3D printers, green screens and hands-on STEAM activities – all geared toward exposing kids to new interests and career possibilities.
InEight recently donated $3,000 to Family Meal in support of Portland restaurant workers struggling as a result of COVID. Check out this video featuring InEight?s own employees to better understand the importance of Portland's local eateries and what this financial donation means to the local team.
InEight is dedicated to providing employees with the best possible experience. So, when there was an ask for additional training resources, the organization explored options to bring that request to life, ultimately settling on providing all employees with free access to LinkedIn Learning. The platform, already familiar to many, offers personalized content recommendations to grow skills in three key areas: technical, professional and personal, and is sure to quickly become a valuable development tool across the organization.
Through InEight’s community relations program, the organization recently donated $10,000 to fund Phoenix Children’s Hospital Virtual Visits initiative - a program designed to keep patients and their families connected during the COVID-19 pandemic. Virtual Visits, which are already used in the Newborn Intensive Care Unit, employ cameras in patient rooms, so family members and patients can see each another as much as they wish at a time when in-person visits must be reduced for everyone’s safety. The program allows family members to connect to cameras using their smartphone, tablet and/or PC through a secure network. It is one of several initiatives put in place by Phoenix Children’s during the COVID-19 pandemic to protect patients, families, visitors and staff.
In the United States, the first Friday in March is National Employee Appreciation Day. This year, celebrations went global as InEight showed their appreciation to new and long-time employees for the work they do on behalf of the company each day. As part of the day’s festivities, leaders across the organization presented service awards to employees in recognition of their years of service. Thank you to all employees for being a part of the InEight family!
For InEight employees, Super Bowl Sunday was a global celebration with our annual tailgate parties. While most employees sported their favorite football jerseys and munched on traditional tailgate foods, InEight Sri Lanka donned their cricket jerseys and enjoyed a buffet of local cuisine. Check out some of the fun in the photo below.
As part of InEight’s community relations program, employees recently spent a few hours supporting local communities in need. Those at our Omaha location sponsored 50 children with a holiday toy drive while employees in Scottsdale and Omaha sorted and packed food for local food banks.
InEight locations across the globe celebrated the holidays with food, fun and ugly sweaters. This modern U.S. tradition was even embraced by our teams in Sri Lanka and Australia. Locations held contests for the ugliest store-bought and the ugliest homemade sweater – and employees more than delivered! Check out some of the contenders in the photo below.
Football in many forms is alive and well in each of our InEight locations! But employees didn’t have to be a big fan of the game to get in on last week’s excitement with our InEight Pep Rally. Employees across the globe celebrated their favorite teams and gathered for a team pep talk, where leaders highlighted how each individual employee plays a vital role in helping the overall team succeed. Go Team InEight!
No matter where employees were last Thursday, everyone was on the same time – ice cream time – with our company-wide ice cream social. Employees at each of our offices gathered to enjoy sundaes, root beer floats and ice cream in InEight-branded cups while spending time with colleagues. Remote employees were far from forgotten in the event planning as they each received their own InEight cup as encouragement to take a few minutes to enjoy a frozen treat and reflect on the great people they get to work with each day. Check out the photo below for a peek into all the fun had at InEight’s global ice cream social.
