Today at Industrious Ogilvie in Chicago we're having a Pronoun Party complete with these incredible pins, info about what it means to be Trans, and additional resources to keep on learning. Thank you to our Operations Associate Ian Zeitlin (they/them) for bringing this event to life! Here are Ian's Trans Tips: •It's always polite to ask someone's pronouns if you don't know them, rather than assuming. •If someone uses They/Them pronouns, try to avoid gendered language with them (sir, man, ma'am, miss, etc.) •If you mess up, just correct yourself and move on. Often dwelling on it is even more uncomfortable than the misgendering itself. •Trans people already know that this may be new to you and that you're still learning :) •Be curious - if there's something you don't understand, google it!
Some exciting news for Industrious - we are on track to open up our first West Palm Beach location! With 87 private offices (a total of 350 seats), this co-working location is slated to open in December.
