At L'Occitane we recently dedicated a moth to looking after ourselves. We covered topics such as nutrition, journalling, mediation and, of course, physical wellbeing. As part of this we all dedicated an hour to getting active and made a video to share with you! We hope you enjoy it!
We may be over two weeks into January however, we wanted to share an End of Year round-up with you. What a year it was, but with your help we accomplished so much! Watch to see just some of 2020's highlights. 🎥 Thank you for your continued support and we hope that you have a great 2021!😘
When you choose your brands carefully you have the power to protect our planet. As a brand, we stand for Reducing Waste, Respecting Biodiversity, Supporting Producers, Empowering Women, Caring For Sight and Celebrating Craftsmanship. We launched a campaign to find real men and women who had a true passion for these commitments, they formed our cast. Watch the video now 💛 #IChooseLoccitane Which of these commitments mean the most to you?
Let?s reduce waste together! This summer, we invite you to carry out your own private #cleanuptheworld litter picking initiative! 1- Pack safety essentials (gloves, bag and hand sanitiser) 2- Carry out a clean of a beach, waterway or park (only if you feel comfortable to do a litter pick!). Recycle as much of the rubbish as possible, and follow your council guidelines for litter picking in your area. 3- Count the number of pieces you collect, let us know the number in our survey at www.tiny.cc/loccitanesurvey, share pictures on Instagram with #cleanuptheworld and tagging @loccitane_uk_ire More information: uk.loccitane.com/reducing-waste-2020 or ie.loccitane.com/reducing-waste-2020 Happy cleaning! :)
We are pleased to let you know that many of our UK stores started to re-open on Monday 15th June 2020 💛 Welcome back to our wonderful Boutique teams (and customers, of course!).
All of us in the UK & Ireland have been deeply saddened and shocked following the death of George Floyd. As you may have seen, we have communicated on our social media platforms our solidarity to the black community, but we want to go beyond Instagram and show a stronger level of support to the cause. We have shortlisted a couple of charities and will be donating to an organisation which deals with the urgent topic of violence and criminal injustice involving black youth. I am personally committed to following up on this incredibly important topic, while building an inclusive, diverse and tolerant workplace that welcomes individuals from different backgrounds, ethnicities, religions or sexual orientation, and where everyone is valued and has a chance to succeed. L’OCCITANE has RESPECT as a core pillar, as well as supporting communities as part of one of its core values. We condemn racism or any discriminatory behaviour. I hope that these events will help our generation to make some positive and long lasting steps towards an equal, tolerant and peaceful world.”
