In honor of Women’s History Month, our HQ Lidlers successfully assembled over 60 wellness packs to support local non-profit organizations, Doorways and Friends of Guest House, in their efforts to aid women in the community. Kudos to our lightning-speed team for assembling the packs in record time!
Our store teams across the UK are receiving personal ‘thank you’ messages from their local communities, for all of their hard work during this challenging period. One example has been reported by our Llanishen store team in Cardiff. Customers baked a range of biscuits, cakes and other treats, and delivered them to the store, along with messages of appreciation, which were warmly received by the team. Mei, from the Llanishen store said ‘"We have had such lovely feedback from customers, they are so appreciative of us and the colleagues really feel motivated by it!" ‘Remember, even when things seem dark and grey, there could be a rainbow just around the corner.’ Childline is a life-changing service which helps to ensure no child goes unheard. It provides a safe place for any child to turn to, whatever difficulty they’re facing. As part of our ‘Rainbow trail’ campaign, we’ve worked with our charity partner the NSPCC to create “The Cloud and The Rainbow” bedtime story.
