In an unprecedented honor, Marcum LLP secured its position as the foremost accounting services provider to the Pennsylvania legal sector, winning six out of seven categories in The Legal Intelligencer’s 2023 “Best Of” rankings. This marks the fifth consecutive year Marcum has celebrated numerous top honors, a record unmatched by any other firm.
Marcum was recently ranked in the top 25 of Accounting Today’s annual Value-Added Reseller (VAR) 100 list. McCarthy & Company, PC headquartered in Blue Bell, Pennsylvania, has combined with Marcum, effective June 1. Established in 1967, McCarthy & Company was a full-service tax and accounting firm serving the construction, real estate, healthcare, transportation and logistics sectors. McCarthy’s clients will now benefit from expanded assurance, tax, and advisory services and comprehensive business and financial solutions spanning specialized areas like R&D tax credits, international tax, transaction advisory, and cyber and information security services, among others.

In response to the devastating earthquakes in Syria and Turkey, Marcum Foundation has donated $10,000 in emergency funding to UNICEF’s relief efforts for the thousands of children and families affected. In addition, fundraising campaigns enabling Marcum staff, clients, vendors, and friends of the Firm to give to the relief efforts are also underway, with two dollar-for-dollar matching opportunities.

All Marcum offices were closed for business on Thanksgiving Eve for the annual Marcum Day of Service, when the Firm’s 3500 partners and associates are encouraged to spend the day volunteering with local charities.
