Moffitt McKinley Hospital is our new inpatient surgical hospital scheduled to open on July 31, 2023. The new 10-story, 498,000-square-foot facility is located on more than 20 acres across from the Richard M. Schulze Family Foundation Outpatient Center. MMH will feature: - 19 ORs - 72 Universal Prep/Recovery Rooms - 128 Inpatient Beds - Imaging Dept (MRI, CT, US, Nuclear Medicine) - Lab - Pharmacy - Ancillary Clinical Services (PT/OT, Speech, Nutrition, Social Work, Respiratory Therapy, and more) - Support Services (EVS, Biomed, Food Services, and more) Advanced technology throughout the building will allow for improvements in patient experience, clinical outcomes, and staff satisfaction. MMH planning, design, and execution has included representatives from all areas within the hospital to ensure that all perspectives are being captured. Patient advisors have also been a cornerstone of all MMH efforts and have provided endless guidance and support for this project.
