Congratulations to our Covenant Health Hero of the month, Terence, senior radiology technologist in Hobbs, New Mexico! Terence was recognized for his exceptional care and advocacy for a pediatric patient. When a young girl came in for a foot x-ray with no fracture showing, Terence trusted his instincts and requested a second order, which revealed the fracture. His dedication, positive attitude and commitment to patient care make him a valued member of the Covenant Health Hobbs Hospital radiology team.

Meet Moxi ― our new robot technology deployed to provide support for caregivers so they can focus on what matters most ― patient care. Moxi is here to support our incredible Providence Saint John’s Health Center caregivers in Santa Monica, California, by handling tasks like fetching supplies, delivering lab samples and picking up medications. This allows our team to focus even more on providing compassionate, quality care to our patients. Our team is currently training with Moxi to maximize its capabilities.

When caregivers share what they love about working at Providence, they often talk about supportive managers and coworkers who go the extra mile to help each other out. Kadlec Ultrasound Sonographer Mirza experienced the true meaning of “support” within our organization when she faced two overwhelming tragedies in her life. Here’s Mirza’s story.
Nestled among three beautiful rivers, the Tri-Cities are three adjacent cities in the Columbia Basin of Eastern Washington. Together, Kennewick, Pasco and Richland offer a mix of outdoor recreation and urban charm. Kadlec has been the leading health care organization in the region for more than 75 years and Kadlec Clinic is a growing network of primary and specialty care clinics where nurses and medical assistants collaborate with doctors to help care for the community.
Clinic Patient Services Specialist Luciano joined Covenant Health, part of the Providence family of organizations, 10 years ago when he was searching for a new career with longevity. Says Luciano, “With past jobs, there was a type of uneasiness to it. I needed a change. I knew the medical field was going be something that’s long-lasting, that I can grow into and retire from.” Luciano says he’s glad he made the change and started his career in health care. “I love this job.”

Our Providence Sports Medicine and Physiatry Mission Committee in Medford, Oregon, is living out our Mission! Caregivers organized the first ever free scrub drive by collecting and donating hundreds of scrubs and accessories to fellow healthcare colleagues in need. 🙌 Shout out to the Mission Committee team for showing compassion and excellence.
Caregivers often tell us they applied to Providence because they identify with our Mission to serve all in our communities, especially the poor and vulnerable. This is true for many of our clinic caregivers at Covenant Health, part of the Providence family of organizations, in West Texas and Eastern New Mexico. Here is what several Covenant clinic caregivers have to say about working with us.
