  • Russell Cellular, 2018 Verizon Wireless Partner of the Year, is pleased to announce the launch of a new brand identity. The development of the new branding was in collaboration with 417 Magazine, a regional publisher operating in southwest Missouri.

    According to co-founder Kym Russell, “Today we launch Russell Cellular’s first re-branding initiative, and our first updated logo in over 10 years! We are excited for the growth and expansion that we have experienced as an organization over the last few years, and we are anticipating the future success that we will achieve together. We believe that this branding will strengthen our communication and image to our team members and customers, while honoring our company’s roots.” #bettertogether

  • Russell Cellular has been recognized by Verizon Wireless for earning the “2018 Partner of the Year” award for best national retailer. The award ceremony took place on October 4th at Verizon’s National Retailer Summit in Dana Point, California. The award was presented by executives Ronan Dunne, Verizon Executive Vice President and Group President–Wireless, and John Colaiuti, Verizon Vice President–National Distribution.

  • Congratulations to our Verizon MVP Challenge finalists: Tim Rasmussen, Joey Huff, and Brandon Hewitt! All three had the opportunity to travel to San Francisco and compete for the Verizon MVP Challenge championship. They showcased their wireless knowledge and their ability to provide an outstanding customer experience. Congratulations to Tim Rasmussen for finishing as the Russell Cellular MVP Challenge winner! In addition, Tim finished in the top six in the nation for his MVP Challenge skills. Russell Cellular is proud of the accomplishments of all three finalists, and for their dedication to becoming the best of the best!

  • After two decades of growth based in the Springfield region, wireless communication services company Russell Cellular is expanding again. The exclusive Verizon Authorized Retailer has announced plans to build a new 40,000 sq. ft. corporate headquarters facility in Battlefield, MO, and create 135 new jobs with above-average wages over the next five years.

    As one of the nation’s largest Verizon retailers, Russell Cellular has experienced significant growth in recent years, now operating over 400 stores across 30 states and employing more than 1,700 people. The company will be expanding from 15,000 sq. ft. of leased space to its new headquarters in Wilson Creek Marketplace, bringing payroll, HR, IT, inventory, and other back office operations under one roof. The company has partnered with hdesigngroup of Springfield to design the new facility.
