The ‘Green Award’ recognises our technology recycling services, our environmental accreditations, supplier code of conduct and environmental impact. SCC named Managed Service Provider (MSP) of the year at the CRN Channel Awards 2021! The CRN Channel Awards celebrates the latest technology innovations and advancements, recognising the ingenuity and exceptional achievements of the UK channel industry over the past twelve months – something which is more important now than ever before. The MSP of the Year award recognises SCC’s success in providing managed services to enterprise and mid-market end user customers. SCC delivered key managed services contract wins and contract extensions, including new partnerships and renewals across commercial, public sector and business partnering supporting users in their hybrid working environments, with many of these transitioning during the pandemic.
SCC is a finalist for ‘Best Intranet’ at the Digital Impact Awards! SCC’s intranet, evie, was launched to enhance every employee's digital experience. Evie is an acronym that stands for Everyday Increasing Engagement and it provides employees with a modern, dynamic platform that allows them to engage better with the business and colleagues. The winners of each category of the Digital Impact Awards will be announced late November. Good luck to all the finalists!
SCC staff had a great day volunteering in Nottingham for our long-standing charity partner and customer the Canal & River Trust. The volunteers, joined by University of Nottingham Infrastructure Service Manager, cleaned up a stretch of the canal, picking up litter, clearing the pathways of overgrown vegetation and re-painting signs. Volunteer work like this is vital for the Canal & River Trust in their mission to ‘make life better by water’. Thank you to all those involved.
