"Working 24 hours a day doesn’t make you better and answering every email doesn’t make you wiser," Sisense CEO, Amir Orad, was recently interviewed by Authority Magazine as part of their "Five Things I Wish Someone Told Me Before I Became A CEO," series. May is Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month. To celebrate, our people team has put together virtual events for our employees, including bystander intervention training, and we hope everyone takes this time to honor and recognize AAPI history and culture. #AAPIHeritageMonth
WOW! It's official! Sisense was voted #1 in the latest G2's Embedded Business Intelligence Reports! The Grid® methodology represents the democratic voice of real software users rather than one analyst's subjective opinion; therefore, we want to thank our fantastic customers for sharing their Sisense experience with the world!
As Women’s History Month comes to an end, our very own Talent Acquisition Partner, Julia Casey, created a blog post to honor the powerful women at Sisense. Check it out below:
VIRTUAL DAY OF SERVICE COMPLETE! Sisensers have missed out on being able to volunteer together so we partnered with SCO Family Services to host a virtual day of service. On March 10th, Sisensers based in Arizona, California, and New York came together online to support nonprofit organizations helping children and families experiencing homelessness.
We are excited to announce that Adam Towns will be joining the Sisense team as our Chief Financial Officer. Learn more about Adam's professional background and his plans to accelerate Sisense's growth here:
International Women’s Day is celebrated on March 8th around the world. On this day we come together to acknowledge and celebrate the amazing social, cultural, economic and political achievements of women while also campaigning for greater progress towards gender equality. This year, we worked together to showcase our core values (Inclusive, Caring, and Challenge) as we commit to pursue gender equality. Sisense is proud to participate in #ChoosetoChallenge and showing our commitment to calling out gender bias and inequality. Together, we can build a more inclusive world.
As we approach the 1 year mark of remote work, we would like to take some time to reflect on how we have adapted to this new way of life. First and foremost, safety is our biggest concern so we ask our employees to work from home until it is safe to return to a hybrid work environment. Sisense also acknowledges the importance of mental health and how we must shed light on this topic and provide employees with the necessary resources to survive during these trying times. We have done our best to accommodate our employees needs through: 1. Self-care and internal meeting-less days to rest up and recharge. 2. A $200 USD stipend & a monthly $50 USD to support and foster a comfortable WFH environment. 3. Our health insurance provider offers virtual visits and COVID-19 tests to all employees. 4. Our Employee Assistance Program provides confidential access by phone or secure video to licensed professional counselors, for help with a wide range of personal issues. 5. The Families First Coronavirus Response Act (“FFCRA”)
