Last Wednesday we were learning, sharing, and connecting at #osn2019. What an amazing open source community we have here in the Twin Cities.
Come join the sdg team! We are currently looking for .net and front end developers.
Thank you to everyone who attended our Pints for a Purpose event! We were able to donate $320 to Pet Haven of MN.
Our consultants and customers are the best. We gathered together to celebrate and give some high-fives for another year as a Top Workplace. We know that sdg is a special place because of all of you.
Did you know that sdg is an ESOP? If you are wondering more about why we made the decision to go to 100% employee-owned this article tells you why. Coming in at #7 on the most read list from TECHdotMN is our story of why we sold out-- to our employees. http://glassdoor.com/slink.htm?key=vQ37T
This brought a smile to us today! This fall we hosted a Pints for a Purpose event and the donations from the event went to local classroom projects of your choosing. One of the projects we helped fund was a trip to Camp Menogyn for Ms. Percy’s 6th-grade students through http://glassdoor.com/slink.htm?key=vQ3ua. Today we received thank you letters from them about their trip—it looks like it included some wonderful outdoor activities like snowshoeing and skiing. Thank you for coming to hang out with us at Pints for a Purpose and making these 6th graders jump into new experiences. #sharethanks
Bringing smiles is what we love to do! Thank you to all of the sdg’ers who donated to Toys For Tots Twin Cities. We collected a lot of toys that will soon find new homes.
VR + the best people ever = team bonding with sdg The Microsoft team was able to show off some mad VR skills at REM5 Virtual Reality Laboratory. This all new virtual reality lab is now up and running here in Minneapolis and we certainly enjoyed ourselves.
We want to thank Casie for speaking at the Cream City Code conference about Non-Violent Communication. When our consultants share their knowledge with others it makes us proud of our employee-owners. Learning, sharing, and connecting are important parts of being an sdg’er.
Thank you to everyone who attended our Pints for a Purpose event. It’s a chance to connect and get to know others in the twin cities tech community. Together we were able to donate $255 to 14 projects at 14 different schools in Minnesota.
