Nineteen facilities within Sutter Health’s integrated, not-for-profit network earned the designation of “LGBTQ+ Healthcare Equality Leader” in the Human Rights Campaign Foundation’s 15th-anniversary edition of the Healthcare Equality Index (HEI). The Index is considered the nation’s foremost benchmarking survey of healthcare facilities on policies and practices dedicated to the equitable treatment and inclusion of their LGBTQ+ patients, visitors, and employees. “Our ongoing commitment is to provide compassionate, high-quality care to all that is free from discrimination and affirms gender identity and sexual orientation. We are equally dedicated to nurturing a work environment where our employees and clinicians can reach their full potential,” said Jill Ragsdale, Sutter Health’s chief people & culture officer.
We’re expanding and hiring! Sutter Santa Rosa Regional Hospital is one of the newest hospitals in the Sutter Health network. The facility is expanding to include 120-plus all-private patient rooms, gourmet “at your request” room dining, digital entertainment, healing gardens, sustainable green design powered by solar energy and fuel cell technology, gallery artwork throughout, 24/7 visiting, earthquake-safe construction, a three-story patient tower with scenic views and an on-site medical office building. While Sutter Santa Rosa has deep roots in the community, dating back to 1867, the new campus is one of California’s most modern and provides award-winning care for the San Francisco North Bay Region. Despite its size, scope and service, employees consider each other family with a professional working environment that is warm and friendly.
