Paulo Martinez, our country manager for LATAM, shares his thoughts on National Hispanic Heritage Month and how it fits into the Teleflex Core Values. “During September in Chile we celebrate our heritage and culture, it’s a special month in the year when we come together as one, without differences and wanting the best for our country. Last week our Urology Care team took part in the world´s biggest trade fair for rehabilitation and care in Düsseldorf, Germany. One of the 691 exhibiting companies from 38 countries was Teleflex Urology Care to inform visitors about their broad range of intermittent catheter systems. From 14 – 17 September 2022, 35,000 visitors gathered information on the latest everyday aids and solutions for every disability and every area of life. In celebration of National Hispanic Heritage Month, our colleague, Israel Rinza, shared his thoughts on the importance and value of recognizing Hispanic heritage. “For me, Hispanic heritage means a very important part of a very unique and particular mosaic of historical processes, traditions and cultures that defines today’s Latin American People: We’re intense, passionate, smart, kind and happy people that are always striving for a better future,” said Israel.

Our team in Thailand recently held a JOIN activity to benefit a local school for the blind. The team served lunch to all of the students and also donated several boxes of daily and education essentials to the school.
Our Wayne employees recently volunteered at a local nature preserve in conjunction with the 2022 Global Finance Meeting. Participants planted 70 trees, trimmed invasive vines and shrubs, and performed maintenance on tree tubes.
Our team in Korea recently participated in a Blood Donation Campaign. We would like to thank all of our employees who have volunteered to donated blood and raise awareness of the need for safe blood and blood products to the healthcare system. Their selfless and life-saving gift can help save lives every day.
