In the spirit of giving, we’re focused on helping our global #community with the first-ever Urban Science charity competition. Thirteen teams around the world created videos about charities close to their hearts to earn votes. Employees voted and the top 3 teams were chosen. Now, those teams are hard at work to fundraise for their causes – and take the top spot to earn a company match. Stay tuned for the results!
#TeamTuesdays share fun facts about our different teams, offices and groups at Urban Science! Keeping the Munich office in German spirit, the team hosts a monthly Bavarian Brunch where employees share what they've been working on and collaborate! From Oktoberfest celebrations to table tennis tournaments, the team also dedicates their efforts to several #community charity activities and provides financial assistance to support the #growth of their non-native speaker teammates to learn German!
The Detroit office came together as a #community to celebrate Diwali during lunch! One of the most important festivals of the year in many Southeast Asian countries, this celebration of lights symbolizes the triumph of good over evil. Teams of every department bonded over delicious Indian dishes and some of our Southeast Asian Urban Scientists shared the beautiful tradition of applying Henna tattoos.
We took a break from cold, hard data to turn up the heat and get cooking in the Detroit Office! Employees from our Wellbeing Committee put on a vegan cooking demo for their coworkers to learn a fun recipe and enjoy some delicious food together!
