The Venable Foundation has announced its contribution of $50,000 to support the California wildfire relief efforts. Two $25,000 grants will aid World Central Kitchen, which provides meals to first responders and communities, and the California Community Foundation’s Wildfire Recovery Fund, which helps those most affected by the fires. This year’s Benjamin R. Civiletti Pro Bono Lawyer of the Year Awards recognized nine individuals for demonstrating an outstanding commitment to pro bono service last year.
