Last week, Recruiting and IT combined forces and flew to Indiana University to build relationships with students interested in careers within our Business and ERP systems organization. Huge shout out to everyone that stopped by the booth for some swag and to connect with the team!
Friday we wished our Summer 2018 Interns well as they head back to school for the fall. This week they closed out their internship by presenting their summer projects during the leadership team meeting. They were challenged, handled unpredictable situations, and grew a greater understanding of the outdoor industry. Thank you for all your hard work, it was great to have you part of the team and you will definitely be missed.
A few members from YETI's soft goods team traveled to Xiamen for a developing trip. During the trip, the China team enjoyed a friendly game of ping pong with their colleagues from the other side of the Pacific. In true YETI fashion, they went fishing in Dongshan Island!
Meet the Badass YETIzen of the Week. William joined YETI over two years ago as part of a small team to lead the development of a new category. With the many challenges that arose during the development process, he demonstrated the YETI Core Values consistently and with an amazing can-do attitude: Core Value #1 - Being Authentic and Innovative with our Brand and Products Core Value #2 - Continually Strive for Improvement William now serves in a manager capacity. While he has shifted focus in his day-to-day, he still provides support to the Category Management team and plays an important role as an advisor. Another great example of our core values.

Between supporting the month-end close process and understanding how to scale, manage, and grow the business, he is constantly looking at how to move the needle. Congratulations to our Battlefield Award winner, Luke Horadam. Luke is a Customer Experience Group Lead at YETI and manages a team, THE LUKADORS, who support our customers via email and phone. From checking inventory availability and taking orders, to explaining features and educating customers on best practices, this team is the first point of contact for most customers. He is dedicated to his team and their success matters to him. During an exceptionally busy time, Luke came into work and rolled up his sleeves to be there supporting his team. His leadership demonstrates a constant willingness to go the extra mile.
