I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Apple in Oct 2011
Interview
The whole process was about 2 hours long. My location was at a hotel in woodland hills,ca, and was a seminar consisting of 30 candidates. It begun with an orientation on Apple with a few group questions and an explanation. "What is the weirdest job you've had?"
Then the 30 candidates broke into 5 smaller groups of 6 and sat with an apple employee. Everyone introduces themselves, and then the Apple employee has everyone pass around an ipod touch with interview questions. Become a little competitive. The employee basically wants to see if you can handle the competition. After, They give you a email response within 48 hours. Usually quicker.
