Recruiter was new to role so was not prepared. She mentioned the opportunity keeps changing so they are not sure what the exact role will be. She called me on my resume so no specific role - jsut area within the firm was looking for someone with my skillset. My perception is they wanted someone tht can travel 75-80% and I stated that I can possibly only travel 50% given my new family situation...
The technical round was with a senior consultant. He seemed disinterested from the start. When I answered his questions, he frequently cut me off or seemed impatient. At one point, I was explaining a project from my resume, and he said, “That doesn’t really matter here.” He then proceeded to ask a question from a completely different tech stack than the one mentioned in the job description. When I said I hadn’t worked in that area, he smirked and replied, “Well, you should’ve. It was discouraging.
