The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Epic (Verona, WI) in Jul 2011
Interview
I applied and received a test that had some personality and SAT like questions. Then i had a pretty laid back phone interview. About two weeks later I received an invitation to interview in Wisconsin.
I took a series of tests. One was to test your ability to learn a new computer language. The others were verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning, and a writing test.
The interviews seemed pretty standard. Predictable questions like "your greatness weakness" and "what would you do if you knew your manager was wrong about a decision". I didn't see any real curve balls.
In the end I didn't receive an offer. At the very least I got interview practice and got to see a new state. Im not disappointed, however, because the company lost its appeal when I actually saw it. They present themselves as a very progressive company, but I didn't get that sense at all when I saw it. They have youth inspired themes with all their buildings, but they don't have any recreational facilities like a lot of other companies I know of. Also, I got the sense that it had a kind of cult vibe. One more thing: there are basically no black people working there. That might just be a midwest thing in general.
Overall, I think it was good for me to see the company. After talking with everyone and seeing the area, I wasn't very excited about the prospect of working for them. Apparently they thought the same, so it worked out.
I applied through college or university. I interviewed at Epic
Interview
Delivery of writing samples, an initial, brief intro interview with HR, followed by two true interviews with different stakeholders. They sent lots of materials before the second interview with premade videos about the campus and benefits.

Question 1
Q: Tell us about a time you translated complex processes into something more digestible.
Applied online, had a short phone interview, followed by an online test, moderated by a third party, and a final phone interview. It was a long process and took many weeks.
I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Epic (Madison, WI) in Jun 2020
Interview
I had a phone interview about the position and the company as a whole and then performed an online assessment. The phone interview was very helpful and informative, but the assessment felt wholly unrelated to the position as it was described to me.
