I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at GEICO in May 2012
Interview
I had a VERY intense interview process. I applied online and immediately took a personality test and then I got an email to set up an interview. I was able to have my first interview two days after I submitted my application. When I went in for my interview, before I could meet with anyone, I had to take a multi tasking test. This consisted of sitting on a computer and pretending to enter information for a fake company under claims, service, or sales. You have 60 sec to answer the call or the email and 90 sec to enter all the necessary info. You are not expected to get it all right but to get the important stuff entered in. You also have to take a typing test. I typed 64 wpm and passed I don't know what is req. to pass though. If you pass both tests then you get your first interview, if not, you don't get to move forward and will have to wait 6 months to apply again. I was able to get my first and second interview all in the same day. They asked basic interview questions and go over your work history and experience. After my second interview I set up a 3rd interview for a few days later. The third interview consisted of role play. I had 20 minutes to read over a packet with a fake company in it and I had the role of a customer service rep (the position I applied for) I had to go over all the info and read the profiles of potential clients that were going to call. I think there were 6 profiles I had to read. The interviewer went into another room and called me from another phone playing the role of one of the six clients. He did this 3 times all different types of calls. I did not know what to expect but all I did was make sure I said yest to whatever the client requested and made sure to leave them satisfied. After the role play I was able to have my final sit down interview where I was offered and accepted the position
There are two rounds. The first round is virtual and they ask about your background and if you can handle the process. For the second-round, You will shadow someone for 20 minutes then proceed for a 40 minute interview. There are a lot of situational questions.
I applied through other source. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at GEICO
Interview
Straight forward. There are 2 interviews, must pass 1st to get 2nd. 2nd interview is more detailed and is on site. 1st interview is via zoom. 2nd interview about 45 minutes to an hour
I applied online. I interviewed at GEICO (Tampa, FL)
Interview
It was a weird process, first it was on zoom and my interviewer told me to turn off my camera because of the bandwidth issues. Then she asked three questions and provided me the job description and the hours. She then asked me if I was looking for other work and If I was currently working. I did tell her that I am currently working and she told me that I have enough time to provide my current job a two weeks notice. After the interview she told me that she was going to endorse my application for review. Then she sent me another email saying that “Your recruiter will be in touch with you for next steps”. Then in the middle of night not even 24 hrs, I get a generic email saying that I was passed on. I wanted to find out why did I get an email saying that a recruiter was going to contact me, then I passed on from someone else. This was a customer service position and during the interview she told me that I have a lot of experience. I just didn’t like during that interview I was given false hope. I would not recommend applying to this company.
