RACV Maintenance Manager Interview

Interview Details – the interview included both informal meetings and formal meetings with senior management staff. During the interview process the skills that i perceived that I would bring to the position being offered were not evident in the management staff that I met. Accordingly I was confident that the skills set that i would bring to the position would be desirable to the company

Negotiation Details – The negotiation stage of the job offer was limited. I was changing from a self employed career to a corporate position. The initial salary that I mentioned would be acceptable to start with was not on the table at the time of the final offer. This was disappointing but so was the fact that the world financial crisis was upon us. I would recommend that your aspirational goals both salary and job be clearly outlined and that these are included with in the agreed contract. Alternatively you will need to be strong willed about your goals and remain focused on achieving them
