      Application

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Rise Interactive (Chicago, IL) in Sep 2011

      Interview

I initially took an aptitude test as my first screening round which they give you an hour to complete. I was expecting a personality test or something basic, but it was basically a whole bunch of advertising and math equations. If you're good at algebra, you're fine, but it took me way too long to figure out how simple it actually was, so I took the entire hour to the minute. It took them about 10 days to offer me a phone interview, which I was really excited for and extremely prepared. Once talking to the recruiter, it was as if she was reading off of a script. She flushed through the "company description" in a really bored and unenthusiastic tone. Didn't she know she had to sell the company to me? Then, she asked me the same question twice, just rephrasing it. It was as if she couldn't remember if she had already asked it, so she just asked it again. Overall, the interview was awkward and uncomfortable. Because of this, I ultimately decided to withdrawal from the application process. Be prepared for UNDERprepared recruiters, and don't be afraid to ask questions, because if you think they are being confusing, THEY ARE!

      Application

I applied online. The process took 8 weeks. I interviewed at Rise Interactive (Chicago, IL) in Jun 2022

      Interview

Had an HR interview followed a week later by two interviews with different hiring managers. All interviews seemed to go really well. It has now been literally 8 weeks since then…I have inquired several times about any updates, and instead of just saying “no sorry you didn’t get the job,” they keep saying “things are slow right now, we’ll update you when we know more.” Unbelievably unprofessional experience, I would never recommend anyone apply here. Never experienced this level of chaos and messiness. Really bad.

      Interview

The interview was straightforward and professional. There were multiple steps in the process but nothing was out of the ordinary of what you should expect. I worked through someone on the talent team to manage my expectations.
