I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Standard Chartered Bank in Jun 2009
Interview
typical interview questions re: employment history, skills learnt, management experience (including size of team, difficult people etc.), projects undertaken (including issues encountered).
interviewer was really nice and took down lots of notes. had time to ask my own questions at the end. very professional atmosphere. was advised by interviewer in the end that feedback will be given via recruiter.

Interview
Quite a long process of a few months for an individual role while the actual role may not require that much depth. Need to be patient with the process. It helps yourself to assess the team and the members you would work with, so keep an open mind.
Three interview sessions - questions were challenging as they were not the typical interview questions. A lot of thinking outside the box, and asking whether you have related past experience.

Interview
Very quick interview process. From first stage to fourth stage took a maximum of a week. The questions ranged from easy to difficult but they were more interested in thought process.
