      Financial Analyst Interview

      Nov 9, 2011
      Anonymous employee
      Minneapolis, MN
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Target (Minneapolis, MN) in Aug 2009

      Interview

There is an initial phone interview through HR. They are extremely nice and will guide you through the interview process. The interview is more around your background, why you are interested, skill sets, etc. Then they fly you to minneapolis for 1:1 interviews. I had about 6 interviews one after another including a lunch interview. It is behavioral: tell me a time when you had a conflict; tell me a time when you had too much to do with little time to do it; tell me a time when you made a mistake Once that is over, they take you to do a skills test. This is like a mini SAT test. Verbal and math. In the meantime, they deliberate if they liked you or not. If they do, they will bring you in for one last interview with the director of the group. Again, this is a behavioral interview. After that, you are set. :)
