I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Target (Voorhees, NJ) in Dec 2010
Interview
I became interested in applying for a leadership role at Target due to me wanting to exit the banking industry as a Branch Manager. I applied on Target's website for an availible ETL position. 2 days later, I received a phone call from a recruiter about the position and went through a screening interview. I was then scheduled for a phone interview with the recruiter later in that week and had to take a test which seemed a bit challenging. After completing 1st interview, I met with a Store Team Leader for second interview in the same week. Then, I was called to meet with the District Team Leader for the third interview the following week. Finally, I was asked to meet with an HR Business Partner and another Store Team Leader for the fourth and final interview! I was offered the position of Executive Team Leader the following day! The process seems rather tedious but went rather quickly. The interviews require that you are able to answer behaivoral questions!!! The company loves vibrant, energetic, and candidates with leadership skills!

Interview
It was a two step interview process. Personable and you are able to interview with not only your direct managers but theirs as well. Provides transparency into your new team. My interview was virtual because I was moving to the area, but I'm sure they do in person for local folks.
