The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Winners (Toronto, ON) in Jun 2009
Interview
The one on one interview was intense, as there was a whole booklet of questions asking situations in past work environments as well as volunteering. Questions such as "What does good customer service mean to you?" were asked as well as "Describe a situation when you had to give someone advice on a sensitive subject."Over all, the questions were not difficult as long as you were truthful since the interviewer would probe at the questions and ask for details.
Went to location, told them I had an interview, took me to the back and asked me mostly situational questions and about my availability. Pretty nice interviewer but could tell they were looking for someone competent and confident. Pretty easy if you are a self assured person and know your experience well.
In person interview went well felt comfortable. I had to physically go to the location. I was brought to the office and asked a series of situational questions. The whole interview from start to finish took about thirty minutes max
Very smooth and clear interview process. We got to see the main TJX office, which was very inspiring as an upcoming employee, and all the interview staff were so kind and caring.
