If you get a bad office you will not make any money. Just shove the return out the door. Not enough people to do the work during the busy time. If you work summer service you have to deal with all the mistakes others make. I work for a franchise and the owners only care about the money and what big trips they can take. Most people that been their seven or eight years can only do a simple return. If you come in with experience they will not give credit if outside HR Block even if higher experience.

Advice to Senior Management

Enjoy it as long as you can. Henry Bloch does not run the company anymore. Given the fact that most people come in with no tax experience it goes pretty well and long as they do not get a hard return. Improve the tax software. Software is designed to be slow and sell their products. Since most returns are done in front of client they do not want it to appear you can do you can do the return to fast and then charge them a lot of money for the return.
