      Pros

No pros, absolutely nothing positive about this company.

      Cons

Working at Afni has been one of the most frustrating and disappointing experiences of my career. From start to finish, I endured unprofessional practices and a complete lack of accountability. First, the equipment I received for the role was in poor condition—it arrived dirty, and I had to clean it before using it. When I returned the equipment in better condition than it arrived, I provided proof of delivery and confirmation that it was signed for. Yet, I am still waiting for my deposit refund weeks later, with no clear answers or resolution from the company. The lack of transparency and communication is appalling. Even after multiple follow-ups, I received vague responses, and no one seems to take responsibility for the delays. I’ve had to involve a lawyer due to their unfair practices and the unnecessary stress they’ve caused me. Additionally, my time at Afni was marred by their lack of professionalism and questionable policies, which made the entire experience unpleasant. No employee should have to go through this level of frustration just to get their deposit back. I would never recommend this company to anyone, whether as an employee or a client. I plan to leave reviews on other platforms to warn others about their unprofessionalism. Avoid Afni if you value your time, money, and peace of mind.

      Pros

Near my residence, easy commute. Same day hiring . fast and easy

      Cons

The culture here can feel unprofessional, especially toward mature employees. At 50, I was bullied by a coworker because of my age, and management did not step in. This was disappointing, especially since I was in a career transition and recovering from depression while bringing 20 years of management experience. On top of that, internal job applications were nearly impossible. The job portal wasn’t accessible in the production area, and even after months of going back and forth with IT, HR, and my coach, I never got access. It felt like there was no real support for employees trying to grow within the company. In addition, it was common for coaches and Operations Managers to ask employees—most of whom were earning minimum wage—to contribute money for team-building activities. This put added financial pressure on staff who were already working within very tight budgets.

Work here only if you're DESPERATE for a TEMPORARY paycheck

      Business Outlook

      Pros

If you make it to leadership, then at least you're not taking calls. That's the only pro. Actually, if you are LGBTQ+ (or a supporter) or a charming degenerate then you have the potential (not a guarantee) to go far. A tenured project coach once told me this: "If you want to go places in this company, then you have to stop trying so hard" I was floored when they told me this, but over time this comment proved to be sage wisdom.

      Cons

SUPREMELY toxic culture rampant with blatant favoritism, unprofessionalism, dishonesty, sexual harassment/fraternization, and about a 20% level of accountability. Plans for success change on a weekly basis with no clear vision. Horrible health benefits (pretty much out-of-pocket insurance). Constant gaslighting in terms of leadership development. The pay, particularly junior leadership, is very low. If salaried, expect to work 45-55 hours per week with no compensation for your personal time. Bonuses are TERRIBLE and hard to obtain. Mid and upper management is almost impossible to crack and they collude to make your life miserable if you do not acquiesce to their constant and unreasonable demands. If you must work here, say nothing, do your job, and the day you are hired immediately begin plans to find another job. This is the worst company I have ever worked for. You have been warned.

      Pros

There’s no pros. They just fire people without notice , even in the training

      Cons

I worked at Afni and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. I was terminated due to “performance standards,” even though I was doing well overall. Some of the metrics like VXS and AHT dropped at times because my internet connection was not working properly, which affected my system performance. What was most frustrating is how the termination was handled. I was removed from a Webex session without any proper notice or clear warning that my job was at risk. During training, we were asked to sign documents saying we would improve our performance. We were told it was “just for record” and that we were not in trouble. However, those same records were later used against us. The company often says it’s very hard to get fired at Afni because they focus on improving employees. But in my experience, I was let go without a clear warning or opportunity to fix the issue. I believe employees deserve transparency, fair communication, and a real chance to improve before such decisions are made.

      Pros

The pay is competitive and they promote from within. Most people are genuinely kind and enjoyable to work with. This has the potential to be a really nice place to work, if they would just treat their employees better.

      Cons

Heavy workloads, high stress levels, frequent and poorly planned/executed changes made by upper management, and crazy levels of employee micromanagement make this an increasingly unbearable place to work. The company culture is oppressive, with policies that show a lack of trust in employees and their knowledge/expertise and send good people running for the exits. Fully remote work was recently eliminated for employees living near AFNI offices and a forced hybrid schedule has been implemented. Whether you're in the office or remote, you will be on camera all day, every day, and everything you do will be logged and monitored. If anything forbidden (which is almost everything) is seen on camera, you will be asked about it and possibly disciplined or fired. Don't work here unless you want to be heavily monitored and treated like a child. The PTO accrual is also very low, and I've heard management making disparaging remarks about people that dare to use their (very limited) PTO. If you aren't a workaholic, you might not fit in here.
