      Pros

Strong community, and communication between my fellow coworkers AND leadership! Everyone strives to make a real difference in peoples lives, and that shows in more ways than one. I have never felt lost or left out at any point while working for Alaska for 2 years now. There is also access to so many benefits, including the opportunity to travel and see so many places I wouldn't have seen before, This company is also protected by a union, which is great because that's why we are able to have access to such nice, competitive wage!

      Cons

This isn't always a bad thing, depending on the person and their ability to adapt to high-stress situations, but there will be long days, harder calls, and days where there are many things to multi-task to ensure the passengers are well taken care of. There will be days where it gets so busy, that the demand for agents to rise to the occasion and help our guests is necessary, however this can prove trying on the spirit!

      Pros

Best onboarding experience I've had with any company. 1-on-1 training, frequent check-ins, and great support from leadership. Light to medium workload. Great pay + benefits and great support on how to use those benefits. Glad to see Alaska expanding. Good transparency from upper management especially with recent credit cards changes and Hawaiian merge.

      Cons

Any issues I'm having are typically outside of the company's control, commute/bus wait times, aging facility, etc. Guest welcoming platform could be better modernized for our Concierge Team.
