Teams changes a lot, stress

People are generally nice. Pay is good for tech but not competitive compared to other semiconductor companies. Lots of training opportunities. Good work life balance, if the workload becomes too much, they will find a solution to balance it out within a month or so. Lots of different projects to work on, depending on your interests.

Frequent restructuring. Leadership is quite good at communicating and setting vision, but many higher level managers aren't good at managing or adapting to change. Quite a few examples of people who were over-promoted and under-mentored, they continue failing to deliver on projects and just get put on a new one.

-Good salary, shares and benefits, especially vs other US tech companies. -Still fairly employee focused - DEI and ERGs, well-being, hybrid working, etc. -Thriving graduate programme and excellent early careers team. -Smart CEO with a clear strategy, that seems to be working well.

-Non-engineering groups have been cut right back to the bone - people are overworked and stressed out. Preventable mistakes happen quite often. -Exec level leaders are all in the US and are all relatively new to the company - there is no connection with or understanding of (UK) company culture and history. -Culture has gone downhill alarmingly fast in the last few years - there are lots of very poor people managers, with no empathy or people skills. -Complaints and whistle blowing about terrible managers are routinely ignored or covered up.
