Great work culture – lots of opportunities to grow in whatever direction you wish. Turnover is quite low.

So many deadlines, and processes aren’t well documented (and being created as we go along). Learning curve is incredibly steep. Easy to overwork yourself due to all the work. Layoffs last year really shattered respect for the company leadership.

I haven't been at Ciena for too long, but I've found it to be an outstanding workplace with an exceptional culture, fantastic colleagues, and great benefits. -Full wfh -US management is okay

-Low ball offer -Mass resignation in PH cyber team because of poor management -The manager is hoarding the benefits and opportunities to everyone -Employee concerns are often met with gaslighting instead of support -Raising concerns directly to the manager gets you labeled as toxic -Manager insists there are no issues but things are clearly falling apart beneath the surface -The US team has their shift covered, yet the manager keeps pushing to add three more PH analysts unnecessarily.

Communication between different areas to sales resolution can be difficult and challenging because of the to many steps and big structures.

The opportunities for young in career are non existent. Do not move forward with this role if you are looking for a mentoring program that will set you up for success throughout your professional career.

great autonomy of work, very encouraging environment for learning, attitude of most employees is positive ,encouraging, and approachable, competitive wages, opportunities for career skill development, peer mentorship, and possibility of transitioning into another career feild or department.

if you are not a selfmotivated person who can work autonomously most of the time, it may be difficult to reach deadlines; the teams are supportive but you have to be comfortable and competent working on your own.
